Signature Setup Fix — Draw or Upload

Setting up your signature no longer crashes the app, and you can now upload a photo of your signature instead of drawing it.

  • FixedFixed a crash while drawing a signature (in Profile, and when parents sign a marks card).
  • NewProfile → My signature: draw your signature with your finger, or upload a photo of it and crop it to fit.
  • BetterProfile now shows whether your signature is set up, instead of an open signature box.

Delete Your Account, Help & Support Chat and Clearer Bus Location Sharing

You can now delete your account from the app, get help from a support chat without leaving it, and drivers see exactly how the bus location is shared before their first trip.

  • NewProfile → Delete account: deletes your login straight away and signs you out on every device. Your school keeps its own records, such as attendance and marks.
  • NewHelp & support chat inside the app — open it from Profile → Help & support, or from the sign-in screen.
  • BetterBefore a driver's first bus trip, the app explains that the bus location is shared with the school and parents while the trip runs, and stops when it ends.
  • BetterThe app no longer asks for the unused "draw over other apps" permission.
  • FixedFixed the question paper builder and the Paper button on the exams list.

Driver Navigation, Auto Arrival Detection & Anti-Proxy Boarding

Overhauled the driver cockpit with turn-by-turn Google Maps navigation, GPS-based automatic stop arrival, and boarding locks that prevent proxy check-ins.

  • NewDriver cockpit Navigation tab: shows next stop, distance, scheduled time, and one-tap 'Start Voice Directions' that opens Google Maps.
  • NewFull Route button — opens Google Maps with all remaining unvisited stops as waypoints so the driver sees the entire run path.
  • NewAuto-arrival: when bus GPS enters within 150 m of the next stop, the stop is automatically marked 'Reached' — prevents proxies and malpractice.
  • NewBoarding lock: riders cannot be marked 'Boarded' until the bus has physically reached their stop (enforced by GPS).
  • NewAttendance check-in gate: drivers must check in for the day before they can start a trip.
  • BetterReal driving-route polylines from bus to next stop via Google DirectionsService instead of straight lines.
  • BetterStops tab shows a progress bar and colour-coded stop cards.
  • FixedFixed: map scrolling conflict on the driver screen — map is now non-scroll-intercepting inside the page scroll container.

Live Bus Tracking for Parents & Admin Map Revamp

Parents can now track the school bus live from the app. Admin gets a full-screen fleet map with vehicle cards, live ping indicators, and route polylines.

  • NewParents and students can see the live bus position on a map in the mobile app — updates every 5 seconds while the driver's phone sends GPS.
  • NewAdmin Live Map: left sidebar lists all vehicles with live/signal/late/parked badges; clicking any vehicle centers the map and shows route details.
  • NewBus heading arrow on the map marker rotates to show the direction of travel.
  • NewProximity ETA alert: parents get a push notification when the bus is ~3 minutes from their stop.
  • BetterReduced Google Maps API calls by sharing a single map instance across route selection changes.
  • FixedFixed: same bus could be assigned to overlapping routes — now blocked with a clear validation error.
  • FixedFixed: delete route option was missing from the route management page.
